Today is 20 years since the last episode of Ninja Turtles, whats your take on the last episode? and I am sure the world cared little of the series by that pt, or said "Dude its 1996 you should not be watching Ninja Turtles anymore". And what was your least favorite season?
shareI was 14 when the Turtles premiered with their first episode in 87 so I was pretty much done watching cartoons. So I kinda checked it out but not really. I got to be honest I kind of thought they were dumb. Lol
But now I've been trying to go back and watch all sorts of movies and cartoons that I missed from back in the day. This is on my list and I just bought all the seasons on DVD. I think I thought it was dumb at the time because when you're 14 almost 15 all you want to do is grow up at that age and start driving a car etc etc turtles that were mutants were the lamest concept to me. I'm positive though that had I been 8, 9 or 10 when the turtles came out I'm sure I would've loved them.
I did get the NES game that came out and I played it but it was quite hard.
Turtles may have finished as this TV series but it was always around in some form. For that we were okay.
shareMy God has it been that long? Things have certainly changed around here. I remember when old man Peabody owned all of it. With trees as far the eye could see. He had this crazy idea about breeding pine trees.
shareI try to picture the 8th season as the last season. With an ending that might not be powerful, but is decent closing out the series. I think I may of felt similar to the actual finale as well.
Last two seasons are the only ones I don't like. I do like the idea of a new villain other than shredder, but fount the alien dude to be a little dull. Rat King as new main villain, Karai, or a character from Krang or Shredder's past would of been interesting, if done right of course.
