Odd little film, this one. It's not scary and it's not really that exploitative, but above all it feels like something's missing. Ian Bannen and Frank Finlay are good actors yet their characters do virtually nothing, there are minor characters that seem to serve no purpose other than to exist, and it feels as if there are missing scenes. I wonder if that 106 minute cut actually exists.

The scene that most comes to mind is the attempted exorcism of Daria. Her mother begs the priest for help then we see Daria next scene on the ground as exorcism takes place.
It was like there needed to be a scene showing how they got Daria to cooperate. The whole movie, she was the defiant little boss. I don't think she would willing agree to be in the exorcism position without some sort of resistance.
