I would love to buy this

Seriously,
Does anyone know where I can get a copy of this film??

reply

It was out on VHS, but had a pretty limited distribution: a friend who worked on the movie has the only copy I've seen. Given the limited budget and the conditions under which it was made, it's not bad.

Check out Amazon every so often - that's where I got my copy. There's one on there at the mo going for £54!!!! Worth keeping an eye out anyway.

Shame you can only get it on VHS and not DVD though.

reply

Try www.sendit.com. They claim to have it.

When I typed in "Fistful of Fingers" to google I came across an online shop from Switzerland which sells tapes of the film. Not cheap, but it's f'ckin hard to get a copy of this movie.

I have a copy of a TV programme special called "Brill" which features lots of Edgar's short films and projects and some other stuff. The show is presented by John Eccleston and co-presented by Edgar. Also in the show he shows you how to make your own "gore" for budget films.

Hey scottishlad, that sounds pretty damn interesting. Any chance you could upload it to YouTube or a similar site?

Freak Out actor/writer Dan Palmer was an extra in F.O.F and there's a very small picture of the Fistful poster on his MySpace. http://www.myspace.com/neongum Scroll halfway down.

Oooh, thanks for the link. I think I recognise him from the film! I'll have to watch it through again today to see if he's the one I'm thinking of...

That picture is of the video cover though. As seen here:

It's in the original post in place of the duplicate link! I really should be more clear about these things.

Surely this isn't a Western, but a South-Western. Really wanna get this as a lifelong resident of Somerset and huge Edgar fan.

I got a copy of the movie on DVD on an internet auction site, it was crappy quality and it was the only thing on the DVD, and it only works on my computer, not in a DVD player, but it was well worth the 3 bucks I paid for it.

Good Movie, very funny, and much like his 2 big movies except with an exceptionally smaller budget...

I managed to get hold of an original VHS copy. Then I got it signed! Fan-bloody-tastic!!

reply

Same here!!! Edgar was very excited to see it!
