When they were in the laboratory at night, they had to run away. It was still dark. When the robot does that daring jump from the building, there is sun all over the place. What happened?

It was 5:58 in the a.m. so i guess while they were inside the building the sun came up. (I just happened to see that part right after i read your question!=)
