Another Song Question!

What was that song when they all walked into the cinema? Doesn't seem to be on the soundtrack. It's sounds a bit like Maceo & The Macks or something comparable.

I have been looking for the name of this song for quite sometime as well. I finally heard it on the radio today. It's called "Pick Up the Pieces". It's done by Kenny G. and David Sanborn, and is available on Kenny's CD, "At Last ... The Duets Album".

Actually, "Pick Up the Pieces" in "Bowfinger" is performed by Scottish band Average White Band, from their album "AWB" (1974).

That is a remake, and was not the version in the film. The version in the film was the original artists the Average White Band, done in the late 70's. A huge hit and a cross over sensation. They had a "Black" sound!
