I think this is a great chill out movie with lots of laughs.
I really like the characters because they're all flawed, all so very human with their own selfish ambitions and their dreams...
I think anyone who would like to work in the film industry and make a living out of it can feel for Steve Martin's character - I know i do.

Funniest comedy is "Dr. Strangelove", followed inches behind by "Planes, Trains and Automobiles". That movie is a tradition for my family. The highway scene, the rent-a-car scene and Steve Martin spazzing out in the hotel are all classic movie moments!
Oh, and "Bowfinger" is great too.
Totally agree with you, the highway scene had me in stiches.
shareHave you noticed that whenever a sign is shown in this film, several letters are obscurred by a tree or something, and the letters that are showing just read gibberish. Has anyone else noticed this? It seemed like it was deliberate.

Yes, I agree. However, most of the population hates this movie. Why? WHY? I love this movie and have seen it over three times. I realize I am a nerd but still, this movie is very funny. Thank you the end. Close transmission.

I agree Bowfinger is one of the greatest comedies of all time. I just wonder when are we getting the sequel "Fake Purse Ninja's"?
