Does anybody know who sung the brilliant theme tune to this programme?

Lisa Lougheed.

I haven't been able to find a copy of the song to buy on disc but it can be downloaded from various sites over the internet. I got mine form Limewire.

On the earlier episodes (the male singing voice) the theme song is sung by Steve Lunt. On the later stories the song was performed by Lisa Lougheed, who was also the voice of Lisa Raccoon in the series.

Always preferred Steve Lunt's version myself: he's got that '80's soft-synth feel to his vocals that Lisa Lougheed doesn't quite have. Having said that, if you pitch up her version on Windows Media Player it makes a wicked hypercheese hardcore tune. :0D
