Usually, I hate anime. (Because the anime I've seen is always too violent to even reveal a story plot or futuristic old west space demons...) But this took the cake. I can't wait to see who the culprit is and how Conan is going to solve it. Everything perfectly falls into place in each episode. Yay Conan! This is one of the best shows out there.

It's easy to get addicted to the show. As I write this, the immediate past weekend was the one where Conan got kidnapped and it looked as if the people who poisoned him were back to finish the job. The episode had me on the end of my seat till the final scene. The fact that it didn't turn out the way I expected it to is really part of the show's appeal: the show is NOT some Scooby-Doo redux where you can guess the outcome three minutes into the episode. This show keeps its watchers on their toes.

shareI also love Case Closed. I didn't think I'd like it but then I saw the beautiful artwork and heard the theme song and liked the voices of the characters. I'm watching it now. I'm glad they show the Conan's hints at the end of the cartoon.

2)Cases where you know who it is and you somehow have to fit the evidence to prove it was really them.

At first I was always addicted to the anime 'Inuyasha'. (I still am too).
But now, I'm completely addicted to this show too.
I plan to get the season box sets so I can watch them whenever I want.
I love how this show has you always fall for the red herring. Imagine the hours of toiling the writers deal with every week to make an episode! Imagine having such a job!!!

I am, i'm at ep 251, there are other series like this one, Ghost Hunt; all the type of detective anime should be continued till the end.

And I'm probably the only person at my college who has actually watched this anime to the max. People would only tell me that they only watched up the first episode of Heiji Hattori.
Wow. I'm only on episode 25 or so, but I am addicted. Conan is so damned cute! And I love trying to figure out who the murderer/culprit is, it's so fun! And the supporting characters are hilarious, too =3

The best episodes are the ones that revolve on crimes that are so complex that you keep on guessing, while the ones involving the "Black Organization" are by far my favorite ones.
shareWithout a doubt my favorite anime, damn funimation for not dubbing more ep's. Personally for me i dont like black organization ep's with the excepetion of them introducing Sherri. All two/three parter's are awesome. My fav ep is the one where a guy was lying in the snow dead with no footprints or anything leading to it. *sigh* i miss this anime :(.

I caught it back when it was part of Adult Swim's anime line up in the 2000s, and I loved it so much. I'm so disappointed the dub wasn't popular here, because I thought it was amazing.
