I can think of something more embarrassing: to pretend that the whole human race ought to be well versed in set theory and structuralism. You've made that mistake. Frampton has too. It's only natural that a film like that will alienate a great many viewers, although I should mention that I do not find the film to be "*beep*". I'm fascinated by Frampton and will always enjoy his films, as I will enjoy anything that gives me a chance to expand my mind. But like you, Frampton often makes the mistake of taking human knowledge and understanding of complex concepts for granted. You can't except the whole world to appreciate cinema that's so overtly abstract and presumptuous.
