The Face?
I keep seeing in the credits Rebecca Chaney as The Face.
Who is the face? What am I missing?
The Face was a beautiful woman that Hammer was obsessed with. The only problem is he could never meet here. He would catch a glimpse of her, their eyes would meet, usually she would give a sly little grin and then something would happen to prevent them meeting. Elevator door closing, she gets into a taxi, Hammer goes hauled off, etc.
It was a good running joke. I always felt a bit sad because Hammer REALLY wanted to meet her.

shareI thought she was a figment of his imagination, since he kept seeing her in all different places in completely different professions. Was she a spy posing as those, or what?

I asked in the Facebook group wasn't there some woman he saw every episode but when he tried to meet her something would get in the way.
Nobody knew. This item validates my thought.
