why did this have to be one of those movies that are ruined by the poor choice of actors,why did grown up merline & nimue have to be so ugly ? Isabella Rossellini with that disgusting accent & voice of hers!

Wow, how can you call Isabella Rosselini ugly?? She was a famous international model.... she's Ingrid Bergman's daughter for goodness sake!
I kind of disliked this movie, but the only parts that make it worth watching for me are the scenes with Isabella and Lena Headey (Guinevere).
Sam Neil isn't particularly good looking, but neither was the young actor who played him. Was Merlin supposed to be a hearthrob?

Isabella Rossellini isn't drop-dead gorgeous but she's certainly on the upside of attractive (personal opinion); and she's Italian (but speaks perfect English) so she's going to have an accent. Sam Neill, don't really care.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and clearly your views are in the minority in your views over Isabella, so you might want to get your eyes checked.
Isabella Rossellini is one of the most beautiful women in the world. At one point, she was the highest paid model in the world. And Sam Neill is incredibly handsome. Seems like maybe you're a little xenophobic.
