Ahead of It's time...

Before Freddy, Jason, Michael Myers, and others... there was "The Redeemer". For a grainy, low budget slasher flick, this movie was in a way... ahead of it's time. The script leaves holes, and the character development is hit and miss, but compared to the crap I am seeing called horror today, this film holds some merit.

I also have to say that T.G. Finkbinder is a wonderful actor. I know first hand.. he was m drama coach and English teacher in high school.

Oh man so agreed. We got this at blockbuster when VHS was being purged. An under looked Classic, the puppet scene is worth the price of the movie. Is this on DVD?

Yep, it was put out a couple of years ago by EASTWEST DVD, which specializes in budget double feature horror, sci-fi and action releases. The other movie here is "Carnage" by the notorious Andy Milligan.
