Look, I have looked on the box, in the credits, and the opening titles. Nowhere does it say this is a disney movie. It is a Unapix film thats wat it says. NOT Disney.

There has been some dispute on wheather or not PUNKS & Northern Lights were DCOM's.

Any movie that premiered before 1997 wasn't a DCOM. Bob the Butler, Kim Possible Movie: A Stitch in Time arn't either.

PUNKS is a disney channel original movie, but they didn't come out with the official "DCOM" title until later. I don't remember them using DCOM as a real term until a few years ago, and PUNKS was made almost 10 years ago.

in the begining title it will say a disney channel original movie and if it doesnt say that then its not a disney channel original movie. case closed punks is not a dcom believe me ive seen the movie on dvd and no where in the credits or in the begining does it say disney channel original movie

This has been discussed tons of times. Listen, this movie is old. I was around when this movie first premiered.

P.U.N.K.S. IS and was released as a DCOM, however it was produced and created by a seperate company who was at the time creating the movie for Disneys Latest success which was the DCOM movies starting in 1997 with Northern Lights and the Movie Underwraps, Due to Disney never buying full rights to the movie it is no long concidered a Disney channel orignal movie.
