Never forget to show the white man's evil and cruelty through history, and how bad they treated the poor, kind and innocent negroes, indians and asians.

Yep. As much as I enjoy many of SK's novels & film adaptations, I too get turned off by his personal liberal ideology working it's way into the plot lines. Oh well, he's the artists and will do as he pleases. To each their own, right? I'm sure that liberals feel the same way about conservative authors like Vince Flynn and Brad Thor.

You're right, it is your burden. You think people would just forget that your great grandfather probably had afew nigs chained under his porch? It takes time to heal wounds and unfortunately the white race has dealt a number of blows to every other one.. America was founded by your ancestors (and it seems to just be in your blood as well..) and for hundreds of years your race reigned over its existence; theres a price to pay for everything mate. Here it is.

*I'm not an activist or anything, nor do I look down on any particular race; though I do see our individual downfalls. I have friends of all races, origins and financial/social status.

I think you missed my point a bit. The point is, we are all burdened with something... Just because you try to do a bunch of stuff to cover it up (like electing Obama) doesn't mean the blight isn't still there. So yes, like the Germans who will forever be known as Nazi's and be famous for the Holocaust, America will be famous and forever known for slavery and how poorly certain groups treated others for generations. Live with it mate.

The Germans teach their children about world war 2 in school. Entertainment wise, similar as to any country with some shameful past, there maybe some overdoing of the evil nazi's in their movies/stories. It's best to know history than to forget it and then repeat it.

Sure there are extremists in well..every walk of life. You can't really say it's just America or white guys however, it happens to a lot of countries. How often to we have the evil German Nazis, the bad Russian, mid eastern terrorists, the list goes on. Then you have the same extremists on the other side defending their country and how all the other countries should bow to their greatness. We can do that with racism, sexism, religion, politics and every other little thing..you have extremists on both sides of the fence.

What kills me is how pc we are expected to be so we don't upset one of the extremists on whatever side they are. I mean really a father can kiss a daughter on the lips in an innocent way (I'm not talking tongue or lingering mouths) in a movie and there will be a 20 page thread about how it's a sign of some kind of sick pervert issue. I think people have became absolutely paranoid of everything.
