How is Caroilne Aherne?

In February 2015, Ricky Tomlinson,seemed to think that she was 'recovering' from her lung cancer and that there could be more Royle Family this year! As far as I know there has been no further info about Caroline's health recently and certainly no word about any series. I hope she is better, but the survival rates for lung cancer are are not good and I wonder if its accurate. I remember Robin Gibb announcing that he was fine and on the road to recovery about two weeks before he died!

Wow...I didn't know she had lung cancer....very sad.

It all depends how far advanced the cancer is. But, as you say, survival rates for lung cancer are not good. Most patients are very lucky if they live five years from diagnosis.

So sad 52 is no age to go.

Yes it definitely went down hill same for Ab Fab after Series 3.

I didn't mind the last special with Cadging Carol though. The turkey in the bath special was the worst.
