how much of the movie is b+w?
is most of it color or b&w?
shareThe DVD is completely in B&W, I don't believe any color footage exists of the film anymore, sadly.
shareYes, it was said to be beautiful in color, but all that survives are some publicity photos taken on the set.

Only the live broadcast in 1957 was in color (and only if you had a color television in which to view it). The kinescope recorded for posterity was black-and-white. It was not recorded in color until the next production with Lesley Ann Warren in 1964, and that was on videotape.
