Huh? What? Are they serious??!?!?

I guess at the time this so called "movie" was considered great art but looking at it now you wonder what were they thinking when they made this? Three female impersonators organize a women's liberation group only to become disillusioned with it. Women in Revlot I'm sorry to say is one of the most boring things I have ever had to sit through, I guess this is a show that you have to be high on illegal substances to enjoy and understand. I did enjoy Paul Morrissey's horror films like Flesh for Frankenstein and Blood for Dracula but those had a camp factor that made them entertaining. All women in revolt has is a nonsensical and incoherent rambling. I will give credit to Candy Darling because she/he has a good screen presence and plays a woman very convincingly. But in my opinion the whole experiment is an uninteresting and dull experience.

To quote the TV show Daria: Jane Lane made mention that Andy Warhol filmed 8 hours of a guy sleeping and it was hailed as brilliant. Then Daria replies that people changed their opinion after they entered 12 step programs. She couldn't have been more right!

Right, you should stick with cartoons.

Hey now, don't be a mediumist.

Personally, I think I have too much bloom. Maybe that's the trouble with me.

I thoroughly enjoyed it. I don't think it's as good as say, early John Waters, but it's still a lot of fun to me.
