Was that the barn from Friday the 13th?

I don't know if any of you that watched this movie are avid Friday the 13th fans like me, but there are so many ties from this movie to the Jason movies. One, Kane Hodder, the grocery store guy. Two, John Carl Buecheler directed, who also directed Friday the 13th VII: the New Blood. And if I'm not mistaken that was the barn from Friday the 13th Part 3. Did anyone else notice that?

Also both Jason and the creature both liked to get GAPED.
