The Out-of-Towners 2

They should have named it The Out-of-Towners 2 instead of calling it a remake, would have saved them a lot of hate. The Kellermans in the original truly looked and felt more like the out of towners than the Clarks in this version.
Jack Lemmon and Sandy Dennis were too old (and sick!)/passed on, to reprise their role, so Steve Martin and Goldie Hawn standing in wouldn't have been much of a big deal. They would only have to make a few changes to the script or retain a few scenes as a homage to the original. In fact I feel that if the original had never been made, this could easily have a rating of at least a 7 instead of a 5 and most of the haters would have been singing it's praises instead of comparing..
