Honestly, why don't people just stop asking for sequels to any mildly successful movie out there? Besides, as great as it is, 'The Iron Giant' was a commercial failure of epic proportions.

shareIf the iron (no pun intended) was ever hot enough to strike, it was at the turn of the century. The time has passed. I say let the movie stand on its own. Its status seems to be growing year after year. Why dilute its purity by attaching something derivative or inferior?
