Whew. I thought this was going to be another rant from the people who get worked up over any reference to the fact that guns are made for the purpose of killing. We forget that this film was made at a relatively sane time in history.

What gets lost in the "gun" debate is the actual point of the film and I think the review does a nice job of reminding us that the story is trying to tell us we can overcome our supposedly "hard-wired" responses toward hate and fear (at least I'd like to think we can).
