Underrated

i love this movie. it has a great plot, and the best soundtrack. except, i can't find most of the songs. i've got like four songs from it but i need two more. i watch the movie every day just to listen to certain songs and certain scenes.
my favorite scene is also when Gloria comes to shoot Johnny, it's real emotional, especially with the song in the background. I also love that scene where Gloria and Johnny hold hands on the train, and again, the song in the background is awesome -- i have it lol.
my other favorite scene is when Liz and Patty are in the bedroom together and they start doing lines. I like when she says, "Slit my *beep* throat!". I also love how she beats on him because it connects to the fact that Patty's father beat on him. You can see he feels that same feeling about his father and he's also high so it makes it more emotional and disturbing. and then that song plays, which is just the best. that scene, i think, is just real emotional, with the screaming and the beating and the song.

Yeah, I love this movie too. I bought it by chance and instantly fell in love with it... the plot, the music, the characters. I played that movie everyday just to watch certain scenes and I would also blast the TV just to listen to the music. My brother made fun of me. I wish I had that movie with me so I could watch it. I'm trying to find 2 songs, but I know I won't find em. I know the names and the artists but the songs are nowhere to be found. Damn.

It's a fairly average movie. I thought the script was bad, but the actors took it seriously. William Forsythe was especially good as the old time boxer Lou trying to help Johnny out.

There are far worse straight to video movies, and worse ones that get released to theaters than this one.
