Is this film available on DVD yet?

Are Robert Youngson's films available on DVD? Or are there legal licensing issues with them that prevent them from being reissued? I love these films, they were my introduction to silent comedy cinema as a kid in the 1950s, as well as watching Hal Roach'e wonderful Laurel & Hardy and Our Gang films on TV when they were all first-run.

This film has long been available on dvd along with "When Comedy Was King", unfortunately Genius Entertainment decided to title the dvd (one-disc) collection THE FIRST KINGS OF COMEDY, only mentioning the films by name on the back cover so many people are not aware it is available. I'm going to email IMDb the data and hopefully they will update the film's page for dvd information.

Good idea!

IMDb has now updated the page with some of the information I sent them but in their ever-weird regulations, not all of it just yet, thus they've added the DVD release title "The First Kings of Comedy" to the page but haven't yet included the DVD release information, and they've added five or so other names in the cast I sent them such as Edgar Dearing and Daphne Pollard but haven't added a few others yet that I noted, perhaps because none of those have an "archive footage" section yet on their film credits page and it has to be confirmed before they will add it.

If you want the dvd you may have to hurry as it appears to have gone recently out of print. You can still find copies of it fairly reasonable from "new and used" sellers on Amazon.com (and perhaps ebay and other sites); once those sellers realize it's OOP they'll probably raise their prices considerably.
