I love this movie, but there was just one thing I didn't understand:
In the end, when Barney, Billy and Mazzo are in the attic, Mazzo says: 'The Ice Man is melting, Billy.'
And then Barney says: 'That was the memory that they wiped away.'
I just didn't understand that. What memory?
If anyone can explain this to me, I would be very grateful.

That quote means he's dying too like the rest of the kids are. It is the only memory that was supposed to be erased.

Also, this is a reference to Ronson (IDK if I spelled that right) from the book, who died after taking medicine called "Ice Age" (or nicknamed that, anyway). I haven't seen the movie, but I read the book (just finished it this afternoon) for school, so I don't know if he's in the movie or not. I'm pretty sure we'll watch it in class.

I like to read a book first and then go get the movie. I've done that with several older ones, classics, like A Tale of Two Cities. I sat on the couch and cried for at least a half hour after finishing reading it AND after watching it too. In fact, when I watched it, I started crying way before someone who didn't know the storyline would have just thinking about what was going to happen.
