Did anyone notice the newscaster...?

I know this is kind of stupid, but when I first saw the animated Clerks series, and the newscaster started talking, I recognized the voice right away as the newscaster from Pepper Ann. (Even though it'd been years since I'd seen it.) I've been wanting to double check it, but on IMDB it just has it as 'additional/various voices' so I can't tell. Can anyone verify that I'm right?
