I saw one of their very first shows...

I think I must've been three years old or thereabouts... they were doing several shows at different locations around where I lived and my parents took me to see them all, as did my friends' parents, despite the fact they were the same each time. We positively loved them.
Back then, they obviously weren't as famous or as wealthy as they are now, so it was simply four guys up on a stage in a youth hall, wearing black slacks, colored t-shirts and white sneakers. Anthony used to be the Green Wiggle!
When they did Dorothy the Dinosaur, Henry the Octopus or Captain Feathersword (I can't remember if they had Wags the Dog back then) one of them would go offstage and get changed into the costume, which consisted of a hat and a tail that you tie around your waist or something. For example, Anthony used to be Captain Feathersword, and I'm pretty sure his brother does it now, or at least used to.
It was awesome, and I'm so proud of them for being such a sucess overseas. I was stoked when I met them once and they all autographed my ticket (even Dorothy!! :P).
My favourite Wiggle has to be Anthony. I'm 15 now, and although I don't listen to them on a regular basis, when I see my littlest cousins and they're watching the Wiggles, I love to sit down with them and have a sing. The Wiggles rock!!

That's really cool, I wish I would have known about the Wiggles when I was three. I am 16 and I REALLY want to go see one of their shows but I don't know if I want to anymore because Greg is not there and I don't like Sam. I envy you because you got to see them when they were young. (Esp. Anthony because he is so cute and I loved his hair back in the 90's) But your right, The Wiggles do ROCK!
(Also, Paul Paddick playes Captain Feathersword now, Anthony and both his borthers used to do it though)

I'm kind of in the same boat as you. I'm only 14 now but I would have loved to have known about them when I was younger. I want to go see them perform as well, but Sam being there instead of Greg upsets me. I don't really like him all that much either.

Nevertheless, I did get tickets and my best friend and I are going to see them when they come to New Jersey in July. I just wish it were Greg there instead. All my friends and I love him the most! (Except for Darla. She's a huge Murray fan!)

Oh I'm pleased I'm not the only one, haha! I am 15 and I loved the Wiggles when I was 3. I love their old 90s clips when they were just starting out!!! They really own the kids demographic as opposed to 'traitors' like The Hooley Dooleys and Barney, I hate both! The Wiggles songs are so catchy and I wanna see them live!!!!
