No mention of the two references to Mann's 'Heat'?

In the Serpico play, a line is said about how the character (or another one) "needs to stay sharp, on the edge, where he needs to be" or something similar. This is a paraphrase from a similar line delivered by Al Pacino (who starred in the film 'Serpico) in 'Heat'.

Also, when Max is buying the Dynamite, be tells the salesman to send the bill to Ready Demolition (I believe it's Ready), Tucson Arizona, a line that is almost verbatim to the one Val Kilmer's character says in 'Heat'.

The trivia section mentions many movie references/similarities but I didn't see one for 'Heat', surprisingly.

I have always noticed this and thought was bizarre that Anderson would refer to Heat at all. Maybe people just don't notice it because Heat has, more or less, been forgotten.

It wasn't me who was murdered, was it?

Wow, nice to see some of Mann's fans on this board!
Also a Mann's fan here but I didn't remember those lines.
