During some scenes in the film there's written material on screen that goes untranslated throughout....
In one scene, Jo-Pil(Kang-ho Song) is having a lunch meeting discussing taking out Doe-sick. Text appears above Jo-Pil, then a large red X crosses it out and Jo-Pil looks up at it. I would've really like to have known what the hell that was all about,....

I don't know what they said, but I do know the were Chinese characters. All through the film, these less than educated gangsters and gangster wanna bes were quoting from famous Chinese texts to show off their smarts and help sell their points.
SKH's character was the dumbest one, and kept getting everything wrong. So the big cross out was basically saying "Nice try! What you said was not even close!"
The vending machine says, "Hi!"
