Movie straight from the novel

If you were going to make a movie that is based exactly on the novel itself, who would you have play the two leads? (Note: for Ishmael you can just put down whose voice)

As for me I'd have James Earl Jones as Ishmael and mabye John Tuturro or William H. Macy for the Lomax character.
