'Ramones' reference? 'Gabba-gabba-HEY!'

For many years, I heard a wierd phrase associated w/ the Ramones, "Gabba-gabba-hey".... I never thought of it until I saw IOTSC again for the 60th time....right before the indians light up that 'peace pipe' (with it's rather suspicious effects, i.e. 'that ain't tobacco'), and now I wonder, is it possible this is where the ramones got it???
maybe a code for 'light it up"?

anybody...? Anybody...? Buehler,...?

It almost certainly comes from the movie 'Freaks" 1932 . They basically sing the whole song in that movie. The movie was banned for many years and I believe it still is in parts of Europe and around the World..

It is a movie about SideShow Freaks... and there is nothing else like it out there.. Even has the real 'Pinheads' in it.

It is shown in USA on some of the movie channels.... Watch it... you will never forget it.

??? ...I thought that is the one where they chant
"GOOBLE-GOBBLE, GOOBLE-GOBBLE, ONE OF US! ONE OF US!!"....if that is the one you are talking about, I'm confused....because I don't remember 'gabba-gabba-hey" in that movie; but it's been a bit since I've seen it- thanks-
