Code Red hoards their own DVDs

Having bought quite a few of their more rare discs, like NIGHTMARE as soon as it was available, and to see the company's product routinely go OOP in no time flat, and the after-market prices skyrocket to insane levels, I have come to the conclusion that CODE RED must be printing and hoarding, releasing copies here and there, artificially inflating the value and they themselves selling much of what we find available in the marketplace.

I'm convinced of this because nothing else makes any sense for why all their truly sought after stuff just disappears without people even knowing the stuff was out to begin with. I never heard of GHOSTKEEPER until now, and now I want it, but the current "market" rate is over $50 on Amazon, and they can choke on it for that.

Mafia DVDs.

Sometimes you can find it cheaper. I got my copy for about $25 off Amazon.

I feel your frustration. For this particular release however they did not sell it in stores. They sold it direct from the website. This is how Bill from Code Red has been doing all his new releases now.

Some of them say sold out but they become available again in a day or two (of they are not limited). You have to keep checking and he adds new stuff and older stuff that he finds once in a while.

It would be great if Scream Factory picked up some of the titles that Code Red put out briefly and gave them an awesome blu ray release. I didn't even get a chance to pick up films like Ghostkeeper or Sweet Sixteen.
