your favorite part?

My favorite part was the sketch lampooning The Thunderbirds. I laughed so hard I thought I'd faint!

Same with me! Superthunderstingcar is gooooo!

That was my favourite too, especially when Dudley was 'Lady Penelope' and he couldn't control how he sat down, kicking the table.

As usual, Ginger and I are engaged in our quest to find out what the hell is going on and save humanity from my nemesis, some bastard who's presumably responsible.

I had completely forgotten about the thunderbirds sketch - yes it was very funny, especially when the strings were cut with garden shears. I think a lot of the tapes from this series have sadly disappeared now. I do remember two sketches. one was about an 18th century prize boxing match, with Dud as the common man training for all he was worth for the big fight and Pete the aristocratic layabout who trained by lifting bottles of champagne - and then drank them. The bout lasted about 50 rounds each ending when Dud was knocked down.
The other sketch featured just Pete dressed as burglar (eye mask and striped jumper with bag marked 'swag' just in case there was any confusion about his character). he enters a young womans bedroom through the window and demands all her clothes! For modesty sake she gets into bed to remove her underwear. Satisfied with his haul Pete then disappears back out the window. I think the whole sketch was done without dialog, perhaps parodying a silent movie melodrama? later in the show he does the same thing again in a second episode featuring (i think) the same victim. At the time, for british TV it must have been a bit bizarre and risque even by their standards!
