This is the 1970's TV show, not the film

Just to clarify for the people who have accidently stumbled onto the wrong site, this is a forum for the 1976 kiddie show starring Fred Grandy, not the 1987 film. (The other site has more threads than this one.)

I remember this show from when I was a kid. It was good, harmless fun. I was always a lover of the old Universal monsters and it was amusing seeing them as the heroes for a change. Crime fighting monsters. A childhood delight.

The jokes were corny but they made me laugh. Pre-"Love Boat" Gopher (Fred Grandy) stars and acts as strightman to the monster trio of Dracula, Frankenstien's Monster and the Wolfman. (Called Drac, Frankie and Wolfie here.)

Ah nostalgia.

I can understand how some people are confused. When someone mentions "Ghostbusters" my first thought is still Forrest Tucker,Larry Storch and an ape named Tracy.

I too remember this fondly.
Any chance you remember what the van was called? I remember I thought it was funny, but I just can't remember now.

I remember this show too. It was part of an early Saturday morning batch of kids' shows like "McDuff The Talking Dog", "The Red Hand Gang", "Baggy Pants and the Nitwits"---at least those are the ones I remember. Nice to know I'm not the only one who liked it!

Bought the dvd recently and I like the show. There are quite a few anti corruption and anti politician barbs in the dialogue which is amusing. One thing about the werewolf though - I think he looks more like a wild boar.

I watched this as a kid and loved it. I recently found it on YouTube. Now I have no idea what I saw in it.
