Starf____?
Any idea why this film alternate title is Starf_____. Can't say I've seen the film or otherwise heard of it, but am curious.
shareI have not seen the film either, so I can only conjecture. There is a song by the Rolling Stones on the "Goats Head Soup" album called "Starf_cker," which was changed to "Star Star" here in the States. It is about a girl who has sex with celebrities (presumably including the Stones themselves). Not sure if this coincides with this film's plot or not.
shareStarf___er can also mean someone who just hangs out with celebrities in hopes of exploiting them or being able to brag about it. In this film, would-be screenwriter Jamie Kennedy latches on to has-been B-list celebrity Loren Dean and believes this will jump-start his career. It's actually a pretty funny movie.
There is a scene in which a turkey is chased around a room. Not everyone will care for this.
