...Who Sang That???

In the movie 'Another Day In Paradise,' there was this one scene where Bobby was injured, and so some strange man took him in,him and Mel were smoking cigarettes,
and blowing smoke rings, I think he was supposed to be high or something..
Anyway, there is a song playing in the background called 'Me and Mrs.Jones,' I looked on the soundtrack yet it is not there..
Can someone please tell me who in the world sings that song?
And no, it is not Marvin Gaye, I don't know who it is,I tried looking everywhere online and so-forth, I did not find anything..

Someone please help me out with this, that song was a beautiful song, and I would
like to know who sings it..Thank you..

the song you are referring to is by one of the best expiramental bands rock bands ever! Sun City Girls, allthough finding their music is not easy or cheap i highly recommend them. really wierd asian sounding country acid rock if that makes any sense. torch of the mystics is regarded as their best album and goes for over 75 bucks, 330,000 crossdressers from beyond the big vega is my personal favorite and is almost impossible to find. more info at suncitygirls.com i hope this has been helpful to you as not enough people know of these pioneers.

I'm not sure it sounded like rock..To me,it sounded like some kind of blues.
I'm not sure though. But,you do know the song I mean? 'Me and Mrs.Jones.'
Anyway thank you for responding to me..

i am 100% positive, they're only one of my favorite bands. i don't know why i would lie about something like this but yes, "me and mrs. jones" is performed by the sun city girls. they're not necesarrily a rock band but they do transcend genres all the time, blues, folk, to more eastern influenced sounding music. if you don't believe me thats fine, look it up for yourself, but i'm telling you, that's who sings it.

Google it. Me and Mrs. Jones was a huge hit for Harold Melvin and The Blue Notes on the 60's
