Bravestarr - Bruce Campbell would be good but he isnt a Native American

JB McBride - Lauren Holly

Angus McBride - Kent McCord

Deputy Fuzz - Warwick Davis, with LPs as other Prarie People. But not made so comical

Handelbarr - Colm Meaney

30/30 - CGI with the voice of Ed Gilbert, the original voice actor. Probably old enough to double as his other character the Shaman

The Mayor of Fort Kerium - Danny Devito

Longarm Jonn - Johnathan Frakes

Molly - Chloris Leachman

Tex Hexx - Mark Hamil, or Christopher Lloyd

Thunderstick - Pat Freley, the original voice actor of Thunderstick and Bravestarr. If not available, Dwight Schultz

Scuzz - Mark Northover, the jerk fat bald little person from Willow

Stampede - CGI with Alan Oppenhimer reprising his role

How about Micheal or Eddie Spears as BraveStarr??

Lauren Holly might too old for the role now. I'm sure producers would want someone younger.

reply

Bravestarr: A native american, The rock, or Amaury Nolasco.

I like Rev's cast the most, even though they are now all over the hill for something like this.

Ill admit that Campbell and Holly might be a bit too old now. And I suppose Frakes as Longarm John as well. At least get somebody who LOOKS Native American.

But as for everyone else, whose to say how old Handlebar really is? I imagine Meaney would have some prosthetics.

I dont feel Hamil or Lloyd would be too old for Tex Hex. He always looked fairly worn in the show. Plus again, makeup.

30/30, Thunderstick and Stampede would be special effects, so casting the original actors (When possible) for them as voices. Both Mark Hamil and Dwight Shultz would also be good choices for them as well considering both have done many voiceover roles. But I would like to give the original Filmation voice actors cameos

I would still suggest using Little People as Prarie People. Although Id play them up as being more human looking rather than grubby little dwarf charicatures. At least use Warwick Davis for Scuzz. Scuzz looks like an older character.

Anyone remember Paul Chaves from War of the WOrlds and Predator? He's played Native American characters. I think he would be an ideal choice as Bravestarr's Shaman Mentor. Look at his first image in a google search. Perhaps make him look a little less stereotypical Indian

here is my possible cast:

Bravestarr: Carlos Lauchu or Ian Anthony Dale
Shaman : Wes Studi
30/30 : CGI with the voice of Adam Baldwin
Handlebar: Michael Clarke Duncan
Mayor of New Texas: Danny Devito
Deputy Fuzz: Peter Dinklage
Skuzz: Warwick Davis
Judge J.B: Amy Adams or Bryce Dallas Howard.
Tex-hex: Christopher Lloyd or Brad Dourif.
Stampede: CGI with the voice of Hugo Weaving or Frank Welker.
David Straithairn as the Doc.

and a cameo by Danny Trejo as Shaman's father.

have to admit....this does seem doable as a live action movie. I remember it and I'd be tempted.
