It sucked because they introduced all these new crappy villains. I don't understand why they had a character that was sort of like Baxter Stochman and a character that was sort of like The Rat King. Had they actually used Baxter Stochman and the Rat King the show might have made it. However let's give them the benefit of the doubt and say that Saban didn't have the rights to those particular characters. Why not use some familiar kick-a-s-s characters that they DID own the right to. I'm talking about characters like Lord Zedd and Goldar. By the point this show was made they were already gone from Power Rangers. So don't you think that could have been a great way to recycle the properties while simultaneously attracting fans from both TMNT AND MMPR. I know some of you are probably thinking that Lord Zedd might not have meshed well with the Turtles. If you are then I don't want to hear it, because anybody would have been better than that stupid dragon.

I guess because the show was a cash-cow, every time Saban used characters from the turtles Universe they had to pay rights to Mirage so in order to save money they created their own villains, which was a huge mistake as they obviously didn't know the requirements of a decent villain. Also they added a 5th turtle which was also a terrible idea as this ruined the turtles continuity, I suppose because they created it themselves and didn't have to pay rights for it they thought "hey, why not?". I'm glad this show was cancelled it already ruined the image of the TMNT for many kids who would have grown up watching it and I'm glad it was stopped before it could cause any more damage.

Yeah but that's why I said if they had to use their own villains why not at least use cool ones that people are already familiar with like Lord Zedd and Goldar?

They couldn't just use villians from Power Rangers...

And I beleive Venus was Eastman's idea.

Actually , to me, the villains were one of the few things they got right. Though the Shredder could have been used much, much better. BTW Lord Zedd and Goldar? They would have owned the turtles
