The imdb connections page for this claims it follows both the 87 show and the movies? I know truly it doesn't follow either, b/c how the hell is Shredder alive, but how does it follow the 87 show at all? Anyone?!?
shareDon't quote me in this because it's been years since I've read/seen this, but it was suppose to be a continuation of the 80's cartoon and film series.
The main connections being that the turtles are no long teenages (a lose reference to the finale episode of the animated series) and the use of the subway station as their lair.
They still live in the abandoned railway station, continued from tmnt 2, so it is continuing since the 3rd movie. Shredder has no explanation how he's alive, but do you think they cared when they made this? It was aimed at kids to sell toys and try to get little girls into it more with the addition of Venus.
shareI guess the 3d turtles movie knocks this out of canon? The one with the warlord and 13 demons. I guess that also means the tmnt movies are canon to power rangers?
