how did agent kay get young?

This bugs the hell out of me ! The first season's visual style was much better. But then i can just assume they decided to cut costs and reduce the details so Kay's much younger and everything is much more colourful, it ruins the whore atmosphere of the show ! I loved Elle's pale skin tone... Damn you producers
