Jackie Chan loses his shoes in a fight w/ the guy who wears the green, he then finds some sweedish wooden shoes afterwards. He's running with these shoes on through the crowd, loses his pursuers, makes a phone call. after the phone call he takes a ride on a bike but instead of the wooden shoes, he has his old ones back. Where did he get the shoes?

The term I've seen for the wooden shoes used by the Dutch is sabots. At one point during the labor unrest of the Industrial Revolution, Dutch workers would throw their sabots into the machinery to gum up the works; this is the origin of the word sabotage.
