Sarah

Perhaps I had a hard time believing Sarah b/c I had read the book first.

Her urgent sense of prayer and God in no way mixed with her actions in real life. If you're going to walk the walk and talk the talk, do it so we can believe you. For those of you who don't know what I'm referring to...I'm suggesting her sense of sexual freedom doesn't add up w/the other "Sarah"...the religious and prayerful Sarah. I've seen this movie a few times and all I want to do is scream and tell her to choose a side and stay there.

I would think that most people have more sides to them than one.

Especially when it comes to our sexuality versus the person we show to the general public.

Otherwise, preachers and fanatics wouldn't have any kids at all. So I really don't get what you mean. To me, Sarah is just an extremely passionate woman. Too much, so.

You're exactly right-we all have more than one side to us. However, have you read the book? Her character's language and actions simply remain unequivical. For me personally-movie and book. Only my opinion.
