hey, buddy! been searching for a neon fan site,i can't bring up andrew divoff's site,dunno why, this looks like the next best thing, how can we get this buzzin?my favourite's doc,really like archer too, when i first saw the movie i bought a crossbow,sold it 3 years later as was freaking out parents but definitely great fun! who's your fave?

shareI liked the Biker! Especially in the fight he had with the biker teen in the park! That dude thought he knocked the Biker out and gets his leg broken in half with a single grab! That was crazy! But all of the neon maniacs were cool!

i have to say the gy with the cross bow was my favorite... although each one of them was pretty cool in their own way. you know that has to be one of my fav movies! glad some one has something good to say about it!

My Favourite has to be Hangman...or "Noose Boy" as I call him!
The way he kills people is hilarious...he just lets his noose hang and waits for men to football tackle him with their heads low down....and then...you guessed it....THEY RUN STRAIGHT INTO THE NOOSE!!!!

Incidentally.....why are they neon?....the only neon in the film is in the title card where it says Neon Maniacs.....in neon!

I HAVE to say the Samurai Warrior. He was played by my little brother in his second movie. It's a cheesy flick but I'm still proud of him!

I liked Doc, basically because I am an Andrew Divoff fan and he was born to play the role of Doc.

Their blood/saliva wasn't neon though!! it was bubbly....and steamy....but I'm afraid neon is a stretch! That would suggest it glowed in the dark...which it didn't!
actually I was wrong on my earlier post which said the only time neon was mentioned was in the title card...the prehistoric guy...can't remember his name...shouts "NEEEEEEEEEOOOOOOOOONNNNN" when he misses his Scooby Doo style swipe behind Natalie's back as she dives into the pool!
Maybe that's why they're Neon Maniacs? Because the only line any of those maniacs say in the entire movie is "NEEEEEEEEEOOOOOOOOONNNNN"
Incidentally....does anyone else think that Mohawk (the indian brave maniac) looks like a young De Niro?
Archer is my fave. I don't like beast, but what really amused me is that he has this nicely styled blonde hair. Where did he get it done? Which salon did he attend! LOL!

I rented this movie out back in the late 80s and have unfortunately been unable to find it since. I thought it was brilliant - all those different maniacs killing together. Is it on DVD yet? Would love to buy it with special features and stuff...
Can't remember enough of it now to pick a fav maniac but I love crossbows so I'll pick the crossbow maniac for now. ;-)

Juice is the maniac u mean,yeah he looked a little TOO happy playing with the train lol my fav is hangman i think,i also like the scavengers but why the hell did they stick the hook in archer,also what was with the big black dude with the blades,he doesnt even get a kill,more unanswered questions.
