Features music from Night of the Living Dead!

I've been a big fan of Lassie ever since I was a little kid and when I was watching the DVD of this today, I thought to myself during one scene where have I heard this music before and it took me a few seconds to realise that it was from the original version of Night of the Living Dead, How cool is that that these two great things have a connection.

The stock music used in this film was from the Capitol Records Hi-Q library. Released through " John Seely Associates ". Some of the composer's cues that fell in this library were Emil Cadkin, Phillip Green, William Loose, Geordie Hormel, Spencer Moore, David Rose and many others. The same library used by Hanna-Barbera in the early years on " Huckleberry Hound ", " Yogi Bear ", etc. Also this library was used heavily in " Father Knows Best ", " Donna Reed ", " Dennis The Menace " and other shows shot over at " Screen Gems ".Two of the composers heard in this film are William Loose and Phillip Green. A lot of production companies used this library. It was royalty free and paid per " needle drop ". Some of the cues from " Lassie's Great Adventure " were played in " The Untouchables " . Yes, some cues were in " Night Of The Living Dead ".
