So bad it's entertaining

Except for Diane Ladd, everyone is guilty of bad acting, and the script and dialogue are even worse. Casper Van Diem, though cute with all American looks, was not convincing as the Hollywood Rebel, James Dean. Movie focused way too much on he and Pier Angeli's romance and didn't tread

The scene where James and the case of "Rebel" are filming "Rebel Without a Cause" seemed like it was mostly left on the cutting room floor and the actor playing the gang member was so bad, it is funny.

I genuinely believe the producer and director of this film intended it to be good, sadly.
