Only goofy people would never ever understand !!!

The moment I saw this movie, yeah I watched the whole thing and didn't yawn.

SORRY, lots of stupid classics like The Matrix and other big hits made me yawn and fall asleep on them, but not this.

I've seen this movie tons of times because it makes a mature person wonder, how much of this is really true and what really happened.

UNLIKE TRASH that's beyond overrated like - Love Jones.......this movie actually had "love" somewhere. They weren't just phukkin every 20 mins and then trying to burn each other, with other people. But that's a classic....that's love......man that has 0 reality to it.

So back to this, this movie was deep, the movie was under the radar and only people with working braincells can appreciate it. YEP, I said it !!!

GO AHEAD, SOMEONE COME AT ME WITH SOME GARBAGE TO ARGUE WHAT I'VE SAID...

Can't argue with you. I worked at the movie theater when this movie came out. And most of the time, I was the only one in there watching it. Like you said, it was something about it that not a lot of people got. It only made a little over 2 million, but the main characters were so different. A guy who is actually turning down women...now I get why I liked it so much. I saw myself in that guy, because at that time I had a girlfriend, but I never cheated on her and had turned down quite a few in the process. Now, I've been faithfully married 13 years, with the same position towards temptation. I had been trying to remember the name of this movie since back then. My buddy told me the name of it when I remembered the only part everybody knows for some reason...'the nerdy dude took his jacket off and was cock diesel. The light skinned dude said 'DAMN', then got gut punched'. My buddy said 'HAV PLENTY' without thinking. I just finished watching it and all of those nostalgic feelings came back. I'll be watching this movie many more times, wondering why Lee and Havilland didn't make a sequel. I'm just saying you're not the only who got it. I'm on the same Hav Plenty boat. And Havilland was so beautiful. For years, I always thought it was Quincy Jones' dark haired daughter, Kidada I think. But, I have the dvd now and it's just as good as back then.
