This movie can't leave me alone

Bad acting, but I still couldn't turn it off. And now I'm watching it for the second time in a row to catch anything I missed. It's a damn good film and the stuff of cult classics. I'm still trying to figure out what elements Chris got right, and here's my list: strong writing (period), chemistry between Lee and Havilland, a bit of a truth rub--even in that tacked on ending, the music, it works, and the family element. I loved the grandma and the father was cool too. And when I say truth rub, you can see how much Leigh's husband loves her too.
