Why do 'crappy' baseball films get such high ratings??
Don't get me wrong... I'm not saying 'baseball films' are crappy...
there are actually several good ones... (ie.) "The Natural", "Field Of Dreams", "Bull Durham", "Eight Men Out", "Cobb", etc.)...
But several ridiculously 'hokey' films like "For Love Of The Game" and "Major League" have incredibly high scores... this amazes me... the IMDB average for "Major League" is actually higher than "Bull Durham".
The only accurately scored 'crappy' baseball film (on IMDB) is "The Babe"... which scores an accurate 5.9
