Sally + Leo (Major Spoilers)

Wow, what an unexpectedly refreshing film! It doesn't pander to any stereotypes, treats human sexuality as the complex conundrum that it truly is, and has the guts to NOT take the well worn PC route at the end.

While I found Leo & Brendan to be an interesting pairing, and the dynamics behind how they came to be really intriguing, the movie truly came alive for me when the Sally and Leo relationship came into focus. I watched this movie on Netflix instant watch last night and must have rewound the scene with them on the couch, connecting, at least 10 times; I was totally blown away by the unexpectedly strong, sensual, full bodied chemistry between the characters. I really never expected the film to "go there", and the idea of me seeing these two together in a "gay" film was a pipe dream.

Well thankfully I was WRONG. The film ended on such an unexpected, but satisfying conclusion for this poster.
