I wasnt paying attention for a little while... last i saw the daughter was at a gunshop, and hated her mother...did she kill her mother? Because I missed a lot in between there.

Unfortunately, yes she did. She used Waldo as her "alibi". Then later when Waldo threatened to recant his alibi of her, she got her brother to kill Waldo.

What "main" bait did she use to get her brother to kill Waldo? Told her brother Waldo murdered their mother because of the inheritance she was to get.

Sounds like you should re-watch the movie. ;-)

Unless the version I saw was edited, I actually don't think the murder of the mother was actually shown, so there's no need to re-watch this predictable TV movie.

You do see Francesca making a weepy call from Waldo's car, he seemed a bit stunned as she was doing that. He didn't appear to be in on her scheme from the beginning.

Then she makes her way to the store where her mom worked, the mom is dead on the floor and the cops are already there.

Who was she calling from Waldo's car, the cops to report a shooting? I can see where anyone would be confused by these events. Surely Waldo and Francesca weren't parked in front of the store where the mom worked. Didn't she ask that he pick her up by the mall? We know she killed her mother, but I didn't see it.

According to the true story on which this movie was based, the girl got her boyfriend (the "Waldo" character) to commit the murder, only with a knife instead of a gun. I had read about the actual case before I watched this, so I just assumed that Francesca told Waldo some horrible lie about her mother and then left the gun somewhere she knew Waldo would find it, and....well, you can probably guess the rest.

It does seem strange, though, that Marilyn's murder was only suggested while Waldo's was shown on screen. Was the network afraid of offending people by showing a woman being killed? (In real life, the stabbing of the mother was grisly and cruel and not at all TV-friendly, like a murder a Mafia hit man would commit.)
