why?

Why did they push Allie's body overboard?

Tomorrow's just your future yesterday!

Because she was already dead and she would have died at peace?

Would you want a dead body in a boat with you????

reply

allie's body was pushed into the ocean because she had passed away. honestly who would want a dead body laying beside them for who knows how long. the truth though is of course they (susan & jason) had no idea if they would be rescued and eventually allie's body would have started to smell badly, especially in the heat. i loved the movie and the connection with melissa and jonathan. though jonathan looked soooo hot in this movie. what a loss to all his fans. he was such an under-used under-appreciated actor with talents that had many years to go. i feel for his sadness and lonliness.

Rest In Peace Heath Ledger you will be deeply missed.

If I remember correctly from the I shouldn't be alive episode, they were drinking their urine at the bottom of the boat. They could no longer do that with her dead body in the water or they would be drinking urine laced with bacteria. Not to mention when a person dies their bowels empty so there would be feces in the urine.
